Project Description

Ntubu Minerals Limited was granted Mining Rights under Licence No. 39244-HQ-LEL on 31 December 2024. The company is completing required compliance measures, including Environmental Project Brief (EPB) applications and obtaining community consents. Tardis Mining Solutions has been engaged to provide technical support for exploration, and a geochemical soil sampling survey is underway, with approximately 1,500 soil samples planned to define the geochemical distribution across the licence area.



Project History

Ntubu Minerals Limited was granted Licence No. 39224-HQ-LEL on 31 December 2024. Prior to the licence being issued, a courtesy visit was paid to Senior Headman Kanyanta on 10 February 2024. Minehub Resources Limited was engaged on 22 January 2025, followed by the approval of consent by the District Commissioner of Kapiri Mposhi on 7 February 2025. The tenure was subsequently visited on 9 February 2025.

Community Engagement and Consent

Discription

The Tenure falls in Chief Chipepo's Chiefdom but due to some issues in the Chiefdom, the Chief is not recognised in the area. Hence, the Jurisdiction falls under the District Commissioner (DC) of Kapiri Mr. Francis Hasalama who granted Ntubu Minerals a consent to conduct exploration activities on tenure 32944-HQ-LEL. A courtesy call was made to Senior headman Chinyanta who gave us consent.

The 39244-HQ-LEL tenure falls within Chief Chipepo's Chiefdom. However, due to unresolved issues regarding the Chief’s recognition, the jurisdiction currently falls under the District Commissioner (DC) of Kapiri Mposhi, Mr. Francis Hasalama. Ntubu Minerals Limited sought and obtained consent from the District Commissioner to conduct exploration activities on the tenure. Additionally, a courtesy call was made to Senior Headman Chinyanta, who also granted consent for the planned exploration program.
